Panther is a New York–born brand that designs and manufactures technology products, currently focused on healthcare. For this project, the brand’s first product, Eclipse, was designed from scratch. Initially inspired by various rectilinear forms, it was created to be easy to manufacture while maintaining an elegant look. Eclipse is a smartwatch with no display. Based on this concept, several designs were developed. The product was later refined by Chinese engineers, and an initial run of 5,000 units was produced. The packaging and the leather, fabric, and silicone bands and their color options were also designed during this process. The renders shown were created for social media, and the brand continues to grow.
